While some claim Chelsea want Miralem Pjanic, other Italian sources suggest Manchester City and PSG target the €35m-rated Roma midfielder.
There were reports yesterday that Pjanic had flown out to London for a few days to hold talks with the Stamford Bridge side.
He assured that it was only a visit with his partner to go shopping and enjoy a city break.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea’s new Coach Antonio Conte is not remotely interested in signing Pjanic, as he would prefer teammate Radja Nainggolan instead.
However, Manchester City did ask for information on the Bosnia international via the same mediator who helped bring Edin Dzeko to Roma.
Paris Saint-Germain have also revived their interest in Pjanic and hope to use the Lucas Digne situation to get a discount.
Digne is on loan with an option to buy for €18m, but so far attempts to get the loan extended have fallen on deaf ears.
Roma have reportedly told PSG and Manchester City that they won’t even begin to discuss Pjanic without at least €35m on the table.
The Giallorossi are also hoping to silence transfer gossip by proposing a new and improved four-year contract worth €4m per season.
