Genoa boss Alberto Malesani has already chosen his starting line-up for Saturday’s game at Juventus.

Although faced with the prospect of playing the League leaders in their new home, Malesani has no last minute selection doubts.

“I know who will be playing, I just won’t be telling you,” stated the summer arrival from Bologna on Friday. “I had fewer doubts about the team this time around than I have had in the past.

“It will obviously be a very difficult game against Juventus, but I’ve beaten them before,” he continued. “It happened while I was a Coach at Parma and Fiorentina.”

Ze Eduardo has returned to training after injury, but the South American has not been named in the Rossoblu squad for the trip.

“He’s back, but he’ll need another month before he can be used in a game.”

Genoa have had a mixed start to the campaign, but Malesani is confident that he has a team of real value at his disposal.

“Genoa just need a bit more time,” he declared. “We are a squad which is growing day after day.”

Giandomenico Mesto has returned to the Coach’s disposal, but Kakha Kaladze is out through suspension.

Genoa squad: Frey, Lupatelli; Antonelli, Bovo, Dainelli, Granqvist, Mesto, Moretti; Birsa, Constant, Jorquera, Kucka, Merkel, Rossi, Seymour, Veloso; Caracciolo, Jankovic, Palacio, Pratto, Ribas.
