Malaga have reportedly jumped in front of Frosinone in the race to sign Duje Cop.
The striker spent the last six months in Serie A with Cagliari and is on loan from Dinamo Zagreb until June 2016.
Newly-promoted Frosinone had been close to securing a deal for the 25-year-old.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Spanish side Malaga have come in with their own offer and now lead the race.
Cop started his career at Hajduk Split, going on to Nacional in Portugal and RNK Split.
