Christian Maggio is hoping to be rewarded with a new contract at Champions League qualifiers Napoli.
The right-back, who can also play in midfield, joined the Azzurri in 2008 on a five-year contract with the understanding that his salary would gradually rise from €800,000 up to €1.2m.
"I'm doing well at Napoli," he told Radio Marte. "Firstly we qualified for the Europa League, I went to the World Cup and now we have qualified for the Champions League.

"I hope that my value is recognised by Napoli with a new contract. My agent is looking into it, but I'm calm about it."
Maggio is again expected to play a key role for the side next term, especially as Walter Mazzarri's 3-5-2 system suits his ability.
"I'm very happy that the Coach remained," added the 29-year-old. "I have a really good relationship with him."
Maggio, formerly of Vicenza, Fiorentina and Treviso, moved to the San Paolo after two years at Sampdoria.
