Romelu Lukaku is ‘happy on a personal level, but as a team we can do so much more’ after Inter recaptured second place with a 3-0 win over Genoa.
His brace at Marassi not only set a new personal best of 29 competitive goals for the season, but also allowed him to equal the club record of 15 away goals set by Istvan Nyers in 1949-50.
With 23 Serie A goals, he is behind only Nyers (26) and Ronaldo (25) for Inter players in their debut Serie A season.

“On a personal level, I am happy, but I also say that as a team we can do so much more,” the Belgian told Sky Sport Italia.
“We have a good squad, it’s not easy for us to be in second place, because we want to win and go as high as possible. I want to help Inter achieve that.
“We dropped too many points along the way, but we are young and eager to improve. Now we want to do well in these final rounds and then the Europa League.”
Inter have recaptured second from Atalanta, who they will face in the final match of the Serie A season, after taking on Napoli.
“We’ll see where we are in those games, then the Europa League will be tough too, but we hope to win the trophy.”
