The ASL (local health authority) prevented Inter players from travelling after four players tested positive for COVID.
The game between the Nerazzurri and Sassuolo has also been postponed.
However, several players have received call-ups and for the upcoming international break, including Romelu Lukaku.
At this stage, Lukaku travel to Belgium to join his National Team, but Roberto Martinez hopes the former Manchester United striker will be available at least for next week's clash against Belarus.
“We have to assess the situation daily, it’s not something we can know now, and we couldn’t exclude him from the team because the third game is still far away,” the Belgium coach said at a press conference.
“It will depend on the tests Inter players will undergo on Monday.
“If everyone is negative, then Lukaku may be given the green light to play with Belgium. We must see if the Government and local authorities will give permission.”
