Over the past few days the San Paolo hitman has been reportedly undergoing a medical with Manchester United or on the verge of a €45m transfer to Paris Saint-Germain.

However, representative Wagner Ribeiro insists it is all paper talk, which suggests Inter are still in the race.

“I am in Europe to watch the games,” he assured Brazilian website Terra.

“First they said Lucas was at Manchester United, now he belongs to PSG. Everyone is trying to build their story like a jigsaw puzzle.”

Lucas is currently in London with the Brazilian squad for the Olympics.
