Now UOL Esporte is reporting that the English club have approached his representatives about a potential summer move, with Jorginho to make his decision at the end of the season.
The Reds see him as an ideal replacement for Emre Can, who is almost certain to leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, probably to Juventus.
While Jorginho is keen to try a new challenge, he has a good relationship with Napoli and his teammates, so it’s possible he may decide to stay at the San Paolo.
His current contract runs until 2020, and no decision will be made until the end of the season, but Lucas Torreira of Sampdoria could be an option for the Partenopei if Jorginho does decide to leave.
