Sassuolo striker Gregoire Defrel has caught the attention of Liverpool Coach Jurgen Klopp.
The French forward has scored five goals in seven competitive games this season between Serie A and the Europa League.
He also provided three assists for teammates.
According to The Sun newspaper, Defrel’s exploits impressed Klopp enough to prompt a possible transfer swoop in January.
He believes the 25-year-old is the right profile to act as an understudy to Daniel Sturridge at Anfield.
