They are without a victory since the 3-1 away to Genoa on January 19.

Aleksandar Kolarov and Jordan Veretout return, after they were benched for the 2-1 defeat to Atalanta, while January signing Perez is given his first start in a Roma jersey, completing the attacking front with Pellegrini, Perotti and Dzeko.

Belgian side KAA Gent are without Roman Yaremchuk, while Laurent Depoitre is thrown straight into the starting XI, even though he hasn’t played since January 25.

These sides have met before, in 2009-10 when Roma knocked Gent out of the Europa League preliminary round, winning 3-1 at the Olimpico and 7-1 in Belgium.
