Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno admits he is ‘honoured’ by links with Napoli but adds they are also a ‘distraction’.

“I think their interest stems from the fact that I’m not doing badly this season,” he told Perform.

“It’s an honour to be linked with big clubs like Napoli, but I think there’s always lots of talk at this time of the season.
“Everyone wants to know where you’re going the following season, and you see your name next to many teams.
“I don’t give much weight to this kind of news. It’s just a waste of energy and a distraction.”
