According to Tuttosport, Leicester City have rejected Torino’s €3m opening bid for Dennis Praet, but talks between the two clubs are ongoing.
The Belgium international is a familiar face for the Granata, having played under Ivan Juric on loan in 2021-22.
The Granata didn’t activate a clause to make the midfielder’s move permanent at the end of the season, but Praet has remained on Torino’s radars and with Leicester’s relegation to English Championship, his price tag has decreased.
According to Wednesday’s printed edition of Tuttosport (page 14), the Foxes have rejected an opening €3m bid from the Granata, but talks between the two clubs continue.
Torino are also interested in Udinese’s Roberto Pereyra, who has a year left in his contract with the Bianconeri. Nevertheless, his agent Federico Pastorello has recently claimed that his client may be looking for a team playing in European competitions in 2023-24.
Torino also continue talks with West Ham for Nikola Vlasic and Atalanta for Aleksei Miranchuk who spent the last season on loan in the Piedmont Capital.
