The Lega Serie A’s director general says a decision on whether Napoli and Juventus will play at the same time in Week 37 will be taken on Monday.
The two sides are vying for the Scudetto, and all sides in contention with each other play at the same time on the final weekend.

The Lega Serie A’s director general says a decision on whether Napoli and Juventus will play at the same time in Week 37 will be taken on Monday.
The two sides are vying for the Scudetto, and all sides in contention with each other play at the same time on the final weekend.
However, the Partenopei have asked to play their game at Sampdoria in the penultimate round at the same time as Juve visit Roma.
“We haven’t made any decisions yet,” Marco Brunelli said on Radio Crc.
“We’ve held back on publishing the fixtures for the penultimate day of the season, because we have regulations regarding television broadcasts to be respected and agreed in advance with the companies.
“On the basis of these contracts, we’re only obliged to play simultaneously on the final day, but in recent years we’ve had teams who are competing for the same goal playing together.
“We’ll take these precedents into account for an indication of what we’ll do, which will only be for the penultimate day.
“On Monday, the Serie A League will meet, decide and publish the schedules.
“The decision to guarantee playing simultaneously on the last day was taken by the 20 Serie A Presidents a long time ago, and that proposal was accepted by the television companies.
“For the penultimate game though, with the schedule not having been formalised, the Lega has the last word.
“The Napoli President reminded us of precedents which have value in this matter. The schedule up to the third-last game was made official a month ago, and it’s difficult to change a schedule which was already accepted by everyone.”
