Lazio are ready for a new round of talks with Torino for Samuele Ricci, ready to raise their offer for the Italian midfielder.
The 21-year-old shined under Ivan Juric last season, doing well across his 2416 minutes of action, and his work saw him attract the attention of the Biancocelesti, who are in the market for a new midfielder.
Lazio sold star man Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Al-Hilal for around €42m earlier this month but still haven’t picked up a replacement yet, causing concern for Maurizio Sarri.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are not willing to give up on Ricci and will contact Torino in the coming hours to start discussing a new and improved offer for the 21-year-old.
The Granata want €30m for the Italian midfielder and are not in rush to sell, considering that he’s contracted to the club until June 2026.
Lazio have only completed one signing so far this summer, picking up Valentin Castellanos from New York City.
