Lazio’s chief medic has given an update on Ederson, Hernanes, Miroslav Klose and Stefano Mauri for the Rome derby.
The Biancocelesti were beaten 2-0 by Fenerbahce in the Europa League quarter-final on Thursday evening with several players picking up knocks.
“Ederson is doing well, as the bruises to the shoulder and ankle have been almost completely absorbed,” Professor Bianchini told Lazio Style Radio.
“He’s only feeling a little pain now and today trained with a protective bandage. We are not worried, at least right now, for Monday’s game, as the swelling has gone down.
“Klose and Mauri are in the squad and at the disposal of the Coach. Antonio Candreva got a few knocks, but he trained regularly too.”
“Alvaro Gonzalez returned from international duty with a problem in the sole of his foot which got worse with strain, but he should be back to full training tomorrow.
“Hernanes has a few bruises, including two to his head, but there are no problems.”
It looks as if Sergio Floccari, Andre Dias, Abdoulay Konko and Bruno Pereirinha will miss out on the Derby della Capitale.
