“The derby is special, everyone knows that, but every game is important too,” the midfielder told MilanNews.it.
“I don’t think anyone expected Milan to be in this position, but we need to improve things and it can all change. We must be wary and prepare well for this game.
“Either side can win, but we want the victory and will give our all. The atmosphere is good in training, we are preparing well and the days seem awfully long when approaching the derby.
“I’ve never scored in a derby and I hope that this will be my first time,” continued Kucka.
“It’s a difficult match, both teams are coming off the international break and tactics aren’t the most important thing in these situations. It will be a battle.”
Kucka was asked if he could identify the secret behind Milan’s current success.
“No, we don’t tell secrets.”
