“I want to apologise to the club, Coach, team and fans for my sending off, which left my teammates in difficulty,” Kucka wrote on Instagram.

“I was wrong to lash out at the referee, it wasn’t my intention. I also apologise to him, it was a reckless thing to do and I regret it.”

The Rossoneri ended the match with nine men, as M'Baye Niang was also sent off in the 88th minute, for preventing Pepe Reina from taking a goal kick.
