“It’s exciting, I am a little nervous, but kinda can’t wait for the game and for the season to start. It’s very, very exciting,” Krause told DAZN.
“I think any business of ours, the players, the associates, you want it to be a family, with everyone having the same passion versus it being a paycheque. It’s very much about ‘us’.
“For this season, the minimum is to continue in Serie A. If we can grow, year on year, then that would be fantastic. We have a new coach, new President, so it’s a new beginning.”
As luck would have it, the lockdown measures were eased ahead of this game, allowing up to 1,000 spectators at the Stadio Tardini for the first time since March.
“Just walking down the street with my wife, walking into the stadium and on to the pitch, wow! What a day. What a day!”
