Dario Simic has looked ahead to the Milan derby pitting Pippo Inzaghi against Roberto Mancini, and has a particular comparison for Andrej Kramaric.
The 23-year-old forward has been increasingly linked with a move to either Milan or Inter in January, as he approaches the end of his contract with Rijeka.
For his compatriot who represented both clubs during his own playing career, Kramaric particularly reminds him of a former Rossonero colleague, and the club’s current Coach.

For his compatriot who represented both clubs during his own playing career, Kramaric particularly reminds him of a former Rossonero colleague, and the club’s current Coach.
“Kramaric is the Croatian Inzaghi,” Simic has told milannews.it today.
“Like Pippo he does not allow opponents to make a mistake and if the defenders make a mistake, he is ready to punish them.
“He has an impressive goal average and despite not having a physically imposing stature he always manages to make a difference.
“Whoever gets him will have a major signing, because in the future he may become even stronger.”
Simic also commented on Week 12’s upcoming Milan derby, which will be Inzaghi’s first as a Coach and Mancini’s first since his return to the Inter bench.
“It has always been a special game. [When I was playing] there was always a lot of anxiety in the days leading up to the game because we felt the desire of the people to return home happy for our victory.
“This pressure, in many cases, influenced the spectacle on the pitch, but what mattered most was winning and even if that was 1-0, playing badly, it did not matter.
“We only had to bring home the victory.
“Now Inter are experiencing a particular moment with the return of Roberto Mancini. I think that they have taken a major step forward by taking a Coach at a level that can help them in the future.
“Mancini and Pippo Inzaghi will have different ways in building up to this game. Mancini has already experienced it whilst Inzaghi has the enthusiasm that is typical for a young Coach, but he is also prepared.
“He knows the environment very well, but will still need time to become a great Coach.
“I hope that Milan can win the derby, because it is an important game for morale and for the table.”
