Napoli will reportedly tie Kalidou Koulibaly to a new contract, raising his salary to €3.5m per season.
President Aurelio De Laurentiis announced in the summer that the defender had signed a new contract, and that he’d be staying until 2023.
It appears it wasn’t quite a done deal though, as so far there has been no official announcement of a new deal.

Having turned down offers from the Premier League in the summer though, the Partenopei are keen to keep Koulibaly and ItaSportPress reports that a contract is on the table worth €3.5m per season before bonuses.
In addition, a release clause in excess of €100m will be inserted to make it clear that Napoli won’t sell for less than that.
