“Did I have other options? Juventus called me a few times, Inter… A lot of teams called me. “Last year I watched a lot of the French league, and Monaco in particular. They’d been calling me to come here for years.
“Everyone knows Monaco is a great club, last year they won the league and reached the Champions League semi-finals.”
