Keita Balde Diao’s agent has publicly denied quotes attributed to him in L’Equipe urging Monaco to “make an offer” for the Lazio forward.
Juventus and Inter have not disguised their interest in the Senegal international, while Monaco, West Ham United and Napoli are also in the background.
“Monaco were interested a year ago. There are many clubs looking into it, but so far we haven’t received any formal proposal,” agent Roberto Calenda was quoted as telling French newspaper L’Equipe.

“Only Juventus made an offer worth €20m, but the Lazio President wants €25m. If Monaco are truly interested in Keita, then they should make an offer.”
However, this afternoon Calenda took to Twitter in order to blast the story.
“I categorically deny these comments, which I never made, and condemn any attempt to use the situation.”
