Fiorentina have announced that Nikola Kalinic has been given two more days off to resolve his “family situation”.
Kalinic was due to return to Fiorentina’s preseason training camp in Moena on Monday, but the striker is now not expected back until Wednesday.
“ACF Fiorentina announce that on July 13, Nikola Kalinic was granted leave for family reasons until Monday July 17,” read a statement on the Viola’s official website.

“ACF Fiorentina announce that on July 13, Nikola Kalinic was granted leave for family reasons until Monday July 17,” read a statement on the Viola’s official website.
“Today, the club have decided to grant him an additional 48 hours so that a definitive solution to his family situation can be reached.
“Lastly, the club points out that, although sensitive to any difficulties faced by their members, it will evaluate what is necessary to protect the interests of itself and the team.”
It comes amidst speculation that the 30-year-old is holding out for a transfer to Milan.
