Leonardo Bonucci has urged his Juventus teammates to forget about the disappointment of drawing with Chievo. “Let’s beat Bologna.”
The Old Lady allowed Milan to move three points clear at the top of the table at the weekend after failing to hold on to a 1-0 lead over the Flying Donkeys.
“We drew a game that we could have and should have won,” the former Inter and Bari player told his official website.
“It’s now useless to start crying about it. We can make amends on Wednesday [at Bologna] and that will be the most important thing.”
Juventus have been criticised of late for their inability to defeat smaller clubs after draws with Siena and Parma too.
“At the start of the season we would have all signed up for where we are presently in the League table,” continued the Italian international.
“We are second and with a victory we would be joint top with Milan. Therefore, we’re going to Bologna to win!”
Bonucci will start tomorrow’s game at the Stadio Dall’Ara given that Andrea Barzagli and Giorgio Chiellini are presently injured.
