Gonzalo Higuain trained with Juventus again today, but it’s expected he’ll be on the bench for Napoli as Max Allegri sticks with 3-4-2-1.

The striker had surgery on his hand earlier this week, and it’s not clear if he’ll be fit to face his former side tomorrow.

Allegri said in his pre-match Press conference that he was “confident” Pipita would be available, and the Argentinian international trained with the rest of the team at Vinovo this afternoon.

It’s therefore expected that he will be named in the squad, but will be left on the bench at the Stadio San Paolo.

The Coach is likely to retain the 3-4-2-1 deployed against Crotone, and admitted today that his choices will depend on who is fit up-front.

If Higuain is able to start a 4-2-3-1 is possible, but with the striker set to be on the bench it should be three at the back.

Mario Mandzukic would lead the line, with Paulo Dybala and Douglas Costa behind him.
