Mattia De Sciglio will be first choice in the role, with Alex Sandro the starter on the left of Sarri’s back four.

De Sciglio and new signing Danilo are also capable of playing on both sides.

The Colombian played six times as a right-back under Max Allegri, providing four assists.

Gazzetta dello Sport, meanwhile, expects him to sign a new contract until 2021, with no change to his current €4m salary.
