Juventus have reportedly raised their offer for Botafogo centre-back Mateus Doria and could sign him this weekend.
The links with Doria have been going for some time, but had gone off the boil until today when Brazilian site Futnet suggested developments.
It is claimed that Botafogo directors believe the deal could be concluded by the end of this week.
This is a complex negotiation process, as Botafogo only own 40 per cent of his contract. Another 20 per cent belongs to company BMG and the remaining 40 per cent to various investors.
Juventus have raised their proposal for Doria to €8m.
