There are reports that Juventus are already preparing to make their first official bid for Athletic Bilbao’s wantaway striker Fernando Llorente.
Athletic President Josu Urrutia yesterday confirmed that the Spanish international has informed them of his decision not to renew his contract and of his desire to leave the club.
Whilst there is only a year left on the player’s current deal, Urrutia warned that only offers in the region of the player’s €30-36m valuation would be accepted.
However, it is understood that bids around the €20m mark would begin negotiations for the 27-year-old, and that is where the Corriere dello Sport believe Juve are setting their first move at.
