Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has confirmed that his season is over after deciding to undergo knee surgery.
Khedira has played just 17 times this season due to a spate of injuries, and the German announced on his official Twitter account that he would give up the remainder of the campaign to go under the knife.
“After four months of continuous pain in my knee – some days worse than others – I have decided to undergo surgery, letting it fix and heal fully. The surgery is planned to take place in the next two weeks,” he wrote.

The Bianconeri can secure their eighth straight Scudetto with just a point against Fiorentina this weekend but are out of the Champion League and Coppa Italia.
