After reportedly meeting Gonzalo Higuain’s €94.7m clause, Juventus are also closing on Zenit midfielder Axel Witsel for €24m.
The Bianconeri are on a spending spree this summer, as they aim squarely for the Champions League.
Multiple sources claim they have agreed to pay the full €94.7m release clause for Napoli striker Higuain, who had a secret medical in Madrid yesterday.

Now according to Mediaset Premium there’s another big move on the horizon, as Juve are close to Zenit and Belgium star Witsel for €24m.
Zenit Coach Mircea Lucescu confirmed yesterday that Witsel wants to move on and has two offers from Italy, plus two from England.
The other proposal is known to be Inter, but the Old Lady appear to be pipping them to the post.
However, Sky Sport Italia insist that Witsel is ready to accept Everton instead.
Naturally, the arrival of Witsel and the Higuain cash suggests Paul Pogba’s departure is imminent.
The price-tag for Pogba is €120m, not including agent Mino Raiola’s €20m commission, with Manchester United and Real Madrid interested.
As Juventus are floated on the stock exchange, they probably won't announce any formal transfer until Monday.
