According to the Corriere dello Sport, the Premier League new boys attempted to poach some Serie A benchwarmers.
Jovetic is struggling to find space at Inter after returning from his Sevilla loan spell and was also linked with the likes of Newcastle United, Fiorentina, Roma and Lazio.

It’s claimed Brighton & Hove Albion offered €16m (£14.8m) to sign him from Inter, but the Montenegro international prefers to wait for other options.
The same club also bid €8m (£7.4m) for Roma’s second choice goalkeeper Skorupski, who impressed on loan at Empoli over the last two seasons.
Again, the Poland international said no to a Brighton transfer.
