Pippo Inzaghi has reiterated his desire to continue his playing career at Milan, where his first-team chances are drying up.
Speaking at the launch of a new book, the veteran striker revealed his feelings on retirement.
“If at 38 years I was deprived of playing football I'd go crazy, although I must admit that it would be a shame not to finish with this shirt, I feel everyone here loves me,” he stated.

Speaking at the launch of a new book, the veteran striker revealed his feelings on retirement.
“If at 38 years I was deprived of playing football I'd go crazy, although I must admit that it would be a shame not to finish with this shirt, I feel everyone here loves me,” he stated.
“Now I am happy, I have trained for two months with the team, I am also pleased to have done well.
“Milan is the priority, I will never be a problem for this team. I will try to go forward and still be important for this club, I think I can still do well.”
The forward has been linked with a January switch having struggled to find playing time under Massimiliano Allegri since returning from a long injury lay-off.
“My dream is still to finish here. My agent has had meetings with some teams, but nobody believes I can leave Milan. I think that is the right way.
“I respect the Coach's decisions, my anger lasts 10 minutes, the Coach tells me his choices and I try to accept them. I work with the intensity of a player who will start the game.”
Inzaghi also revealed his biggest regret, having not played with Antonio Cassano yet.
“We miss Cassano very much, I have never managed to play with him. He came because I was injured, I'm coming back and now he is out. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic and him there would be a lot of fun.”
