“We know that from here to the break we have difficult games in Serie A and the Champions League. Tonight we are in a tough atmosphere against a quality side and will do our best,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.
It is safe to say the Nerazzurri do better at home than away, picking up 12 points in five Serie A matches at the Stadio Meazza, compared to six points in as many games on their travels.
“The team needs to raise the level of intensity and aggression on our travels too. It’s all easier at San Siro with our fans there, but we already proved last season, and again this term with Barcelona and Sassuolo, that we can raise our game away from home too.
“We have a team with players ready to come on at any moment to help out, we are working to get the injured players back, for a coach it is always better to have as many options available as possible.”
