Simone Inzaghi eyes a return to winning ways at home for Lazio in today’s match with Crotone.
Despite sitting in fifth place in the table, the Biancocelesti have not tasted victory at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A since October.
And speaking ahead of the clash with the Pitagorici, the Aquile boss admitted it has been ‘a long time’ since the victory over Cagliari two months ago.
“The priority is to get back to winning because it’s a long time since we did that at home,” Inzaghi said.

“We can do it but Crotone will be here to play their own game.”
The Lazio Coach was asked about the physical condition of his team and revealed he is unsure whether Lucas Leiva will be fit to take part against Crotone.
“I have made my assessments. Leiva trained with the team for the first time yesterday, so we will see.
“The other players have been looked after because we have a lot of matches close together and we will need to make changes.
“In attack we are doing well but we are maybe conceding too many goals. We need to be switched on.”
Inzaghi also commented on Serie A’s new festive fixture schedule, which will see his side face a busy Christmas and New Year in both League and cup.
“It’s a new factor and we are adapting to it. We’re pleased even though it means we will be with our families less.
“The Olimpico will have to help us and I hope there will be a lot of fans for both the Crotone and Fiorentina matches.”
The tactician reserved praise for his opposite number this afternoon – Pitagorici boss Walter Zenga.
“They are all important matches but we can only think about this one. Crotone did well against Chievo and Zenga is very prepared.
“He is a Coach with a lot of experience, I have a high opinion of him and have always liked him.”
