Pippo Inzaghi says Milan are going about pre-season preparations in a different way, adding they are leaving nothing to chance.
The new Rossoneri boss is in his first week of training as a senior Coach and today told a Press conference that sessions would be conducted at a high intensity.
“Our training is structured in an intense way but they are geared towards us having energy for the whole season,” Inzaghi told reporters.
“We have talked a lot and we always discuss things together. The decisions we take are always in agreement.
“We have decided to undertake a different preparation and nothing is left to chance.”
Inzaghi also ran through the make-up of his backroom staff for the season ahead, thanking the Rossoneri for allowing him to bring in the men of his choice.
“I’ve always thought the staff are important to a Coach. I am sure I have put together a high level staff and I thank the club for having allowed me to bring in the staff I wanted to.
“Today we are here to present them to you, even though some don’t need to be presented.
“With Tasso [Tassotti], you all know what I did to get him to stay and I am happy he is staying.
“Andrea Maldera will do the tactics for the team, he has been working with Milan for some years. Daniele Tognaccini has been with the Milan Lab for two years but he has worked with me for 10 years.
“With him there will be Bruno Dominici, he will work with Daniele.
“Bruno has done very good work and I think he is a great resource for the team. Everyone has the same desire as I do to take Milan a long way.”
