Simone Inzaghi explains his lack of changes to the Inter starting XI against Bologna after a taxing midweek Champions League clash with Benfica.
It kicks off at San Siro at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT).
The squad rotation has been abandoned for the moment, as it is the same starting XI that beat Benfica 1-0 in the Champions League midweek.
“I chose this option, the lads are working well, I alternated in recent weeks and decided to give more consistency to the line-up this time around,” Inzaghi told DAZN.
“Those who come off the bench are always important too, so everyone will be needed.”
This is a big test for the Nerazzurri, because Bologna are still unbeaten under coach Thiago Motta this season and conceded only four goals in seven games.
“There will be different moments of the match. A strong initial approach is important, but there are moments when we will have more of the ball and others where Bologna will take control of it, because this too is a team that likes to keep possession.”
