Inter are pushing to close out the deal for Lazar Samardzic and will meet with Udinese this week to finalise the agreement, reports detail.

News broke last week that the Nerazzurri had agreed to the terms of a deal with the Friulian side for the 21-year-old midfielder, ready to pay €25m plus youngster Giovanni Fabbian.

Inter have already picked up a few key reinforcements this summer, like Marcus Thuram and Davide Frattesi, and now they’re ready to complete another important piece of business.

Page three of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport details how Inter and Udinese have almost reached a total agreement regarding Samardzic, and just need to iron out the few remaining details now.

The two clubs will meet in the coming days to try and agree on the valuation of Fabbian and the buy-back option that the Nerazzurri will hold.

Inter have already agreed personal terms with the former RB Leipzig midfielder, preparing a five-year contract worth around €2m net per season including add-ons.
