Italian giants Inter have announced that they have appealed against the suspensions of Antonio Cassano and Andrea Stramaccioni.

The Beneamata two were handed bans on Monday in the aftermath of their protests at the end of the 2-2 draw with Cagliari.

Cassano has been given a two-match suspension after he verbally abused the match officials in the tunnel after the final whistle.

Boss Stramaccioni, meanwhile, was given a one-match touchline ban after he was dismissed following the referee’s decision to not award his side a late penalty.
