Lazio risk losing out on another player at the last minute, as while they agreed terms with Mohamed Fares, Inter could do a deal with SPAL.
The Biancocelesti are still smarting from the news that David Silva signed for Real Sociedad, over a week after he had seemingly promised to join them.
Now La Gazzetta dello Sport warns that Fares is by no means guaranteed either, despite the fact he has been seemingly on the verge of a transfer to Lazio for months.

Now La Gazzetta dello Sport warns that Fares is by no means guaranteed either, despite the fact he has been seemingly on the verge of a transfer to Lazio for months.
According to this report, while the Aquile have agreed personal terms with Fares, they are still refusing to meet SPAL’s €10m asking price.
This could allow Inter back into the fray, as they had practically signed the wing-back before his serious knee ligament injury in August 2019.
The 24-year-old Algeria international came up through the Hellas Verona academy, so they are owed a percentage of the sale.
This is also why SPAL won’t drop below the asking price.
