With 11 wins in the first 13 rounds, this is Inter’s best ever start to a Serie A campaign, matching the tally achieved in 1950-51.

Romelu Lukaku took his tally to 10 top flight goals in 13 matches and the only Inter striker to have achieved that as a Serie A debutant for this club was Stefano Nyers in 1948-49.

The result at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino did set a new all-time club record, because never before had Inter won their first seven away games of the Serie A season.

It allows them to equal the tally set by Lazio at the beginning of the 2002-03 campaign.

They are now only one away from matching the league record of eight, set by both Milan in 1992-92 and Juventus in 2018-19.
