“I don’t want to talk about my contract renewal, as it’s a question that puts me in a difficult position,” said Bielsa.
“The question can change the balance between me and the club. I think all evaluations must be made at the end, when the results are definitive.
“Football is in constant movement, depending on results and opponents, so we are still in the running in three different competitions.”
The Nerazzurri had already tried to sign Bielsa when Leonardo left in the summer to join Paris Saint-Germain, but eventually opted for Gian Piero Gasperini.
Claudio Ranieri is not expected to stay beyond the end of this season, so Inter are planning for next term.
Other options include sacked Chelsea manager Andre Villas-Boas and former England chief Fabio Capello.
