Whilst talks were seen as having ended recently, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is running the line that Inter officials have once more contacted a market intermediary.

It is believed that their intention is to try to revive negotiations and find a deal with Porto for the defender, whose current contract expires next summer.
The main sticking point is seen to be the two clubs’ respective valuations, with Porto asking for €5m for the 28-year-old, but Inter apparently looking to spend no more than €3m.
Reports over the weekend were that Roma may be prepared to come in with a move for Rolando too.
