The Italian outlet also report that Madrid are open to selling the 21-year-old, but with specific terms in place.
On from requesting an initial fee of between €12m and €13m to release the striker, Madrid are reported as looking to insert a buyback clause in any deal, so as to protect themselves should they wish to return him to the Santiago Bernabeu in the future.
However, Mediaset are also running quotes from FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti, who works closely with Los Blancos and acts as an intermediary in many transfers between Italian and Spanish clubs.
“[Madrid Coach Carlo] Ancelotti dotes on Morata,” the agent has commented.
“So much so that a few days ago, Madrid, on the recommendation of the Coach, said no to an offer of €20m from England.”
