Despite rumours this morning, it’s now expected Inter will hold on to striker Mauro Icardi.
The striker was benched for their 3-0 Milan derby defeat on Sunday evening, missing a penalty after coming on as a substitute in the second half.
He has often been dropped for big games by Coach Roberto Mancini, leading to rumours he could be allowed to leave for €25m.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website is now reporting that Icardi’s representatives have told them that there’s no chance of the Nerazzurri selling their captain today.
Icardi was Serie A's joint top-scorer last season, but only has eight goals in 19 appearances for Inter so far this term.
