Romelu Lukaku

According to multiple reports in Italy, Inter and Chelsea directors are ready to meet to discuss Romelu Lukaku’s return to the Stadio Meazza.

Lukaku wants to play for the Nerazzurri again and the Blues are open to sending the player back to Italy on loan.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, Inter and Chelsea directors will soon have a direct contact to discuss the deal’s financial details.

Chelsea want circa €20m for Lukaku’s loan until June 2023 and could lower their economic demands only if an Inter player is included in the agreement.

The Serie A giants must finalise the deal by June 30, the end of the financial year, to use the growth decree and get a 50% on the player’s gross salary. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Denzel Dumfries is wanted by the Blues, but, as things stand, there is no agreement over the player’s value.
