The report, ran by La Gazzetta dello Sport, intimated that Massimo Moratti was interested in organising Spalletti as the club’s next Coach next summer, with contact between the club and Coach allegedly already having taken place.
However, the club have since moved to deny the story, issuing a statement via their official website.
“With reference to the article printed in today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport regarding the future coach of Inter, F.C. Internazionale emphatically denies the story, which is entirely groundless.”
