Mauro Icardi spread the credit for Inter’s 2-1 victory away to Pescara with a late brace. “Scoring goals is my job.”
The Argentine turned the game around completely after a Jean-Christophe Bahebeck volley.
“The credit goes to everyone, because we fought to the last minute. We had many chances, but the ball just wouldn’t go in,” he told Mediaset Premium and Sky Sport Italia.

Pescara had taken the lead and threatened to add several more, but Samir Handanovic was decisive in goal.
“We want to play attacking football and that means running a few risks at the back. We are doing great work and following Frank De Boer’s indications.
“I dedicate the goal to my family. Scoring goals is my job, that’s what I am there for.”
Next week the Nerazzurri will face Serie A leaders Juventus in the Derby d’Italia.
“Juventus are the team to beat, because they won the last few titles, but we have reinforced too with some excellent players. We’ll see what happens, I always want to win.”
Icardi had been close to Napoli this summer, but seems to have agreed a contract renewal with Inter.
“I spoke to the club, everything got sorted out and I am relaxed.”
