Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reportedly flown back to Sweden for treatment after sustaining a calf injury during training for Milan.
According to Sky Sport Italia, the club authorised the striker to leave the base camp and his jet took off from Linate Airport this afternoon.
Ibrahimovic is expected to be out of action for approximately a month after suffering a calf strain, but was relieved that initial fears of an Achilles tendon injury were unfounded.
He had a physiotherapy session this morning at the Milanello training ground, but then left the country.
