Zlatan Ibrahimovic admits “you don’t get to beat 4-0 Arsenal every day” and reveals why he let loose with such a loud celebration.
The Swede converted a penalty to complete the Champions League rout this evening and screamed at the top of his lungs.
“You don’t get to beat Arsenal 4-0 every day,” smiled Ibra. “My shout was one of positive anger, as I was happy with the result and the great performance.
“We played tactically very well, even if nobody expected us to put in such a fantastic performance.
“Having said that, we should’ve scored a few more goals, because they are important in Europe over two legs. At least this result does give us a good advantage for the second game.
“There’s a long way to go until the Final, but we have to take it one match at a time and see where we end up.”
Ibrahimovic has an amazing record in domestic titles in Holland, Italy and Spain, but has never won the Champions League.
“It’s not an obsession for me, but it is the trophy I’d like to win and we’ll see at the end of the season if I’ve achieved that.”
