Milan could face English competition for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, as Sheffield FC have offered to sign him.

The Yorkshire side are officially recognised as the world’s oldest football club, and currently play in the Northern Premier League Division One South, the eighth-tier of English football.

“Dear Zlatan Ibrahimovic,” an open letter begins.

“In case you are still looking for a new challenge, we’re happy to discuss a signing for next season.

So far there has been no response from Ibrahimovic or his agent, Mino Raiola, but it’s probably unlikely he’ll be strutting his stuff at the Coach and Horses Ground next season.
